About Us

Hi! I am Joann - creator of Sensory Kidz and mother of 2. In my day job, I work as an Education Assistant at an elementary school with students with a variety of needs - physical, emotional and/or both. Prior to my EA work, I taught preschool as I also have my ECE diploma. During this covid pandemic, I needed a creative outlet and I knew that so many services and outlets had disappeared for our children and families. Sensory Kidz bins was been created to try to help our little people with some sensory self regulation. They will also - without knowing it - be strengthening their fine motor, creativity, math/estimating and language skills. It is a win for everyone! No screens and you might even get to drink your Coffee hot. I have created each product with the varieties of the senses; smell, sight, touch and sound.
